Herman Wijffels’ SID lecture COMMON GOODS IN A DIVIDED WORLD on October 19 is a fine summary of the the complexities in todays worls. However his conclusions are too simple: “the only way to address…. and development must be based on PPP”. There are no silver bullets and no single strategies to facilitate future development of the One World. I would expect a more elaborated and balanced conclusion after such an eloquent story about the challenges we are facing in facilitating the further development into a fair, healthy and save world for everyone.
