Membership

SID Netherlands Chapter would like to welcome you  as a member. Our organisation has committed itself to innovative thinking on international and development cooperation for over 50 years, and we continue to do so. We hope the SID activities - both national and international – are of your use and interest.

With your registration you become a member of an international network of some 3000 members, spread over 80 countries and 45 local chapters. SID members are employed in politics and governments, the scientific community, international and multilateral organisations, in a range of civil society organisations, in business, and as journalists. The SID Netherlands Chapter is among the three largest and most active chapters with approximately 120 members.

The contribution for SID membership is € 39 annually (and € 16 annually for students). In exchange you will receive the quarterly magazine Development, published in March, June, September and December. This official SID publication is considered the leading publication worldwide in the area of international cooperation and keeps its readers updated on important issues and developments in this area. Each issue explores a certain theme with articles from international experts representing different perspectives. Aside from access to the Development magazine you will also receive personal invitations for our events and meetings.

You can become a member by filling out below application form, or by sending an email to membership@sidnl.org with your full name, address and affiliation. Your membership will become valid once the contribution has been transferred to bank account number 544197437 and received by SID. You will also be added to the SID mailing list to be informed of all activities of SID NL.

Students are kindly asked to send a digital copy of their student card to membership@sidnl.org or send a copy to: SID Nederland, re: Membership, Zeestraat 100, 2518 AD, Den Haag.

Please note that a portion of your fee supports the SID International Secretariat in Rome
